Implementing a Digital Factory over a comprehensive MES interfacing from logistics to a deeply integrated machine control layer is a challenge. We will take you on a journey throughout the endeavors Bayer and NNIT encountered in this large-scale joint project. We hope you enjoy, and benefit, from us when we share key challenges of a project spanning over 3 years and how we collaboratively mastered those. In this session, you will learn:
Jallaleddin holds a Master of Science in Mechanical & Process Engineering with a specialization in Digitalization & Industry 4.0 from Technical University Darmstadt. His expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) has been demonstrated through leading several global MES rollouts, including the state-of-the-art product launch site SOL-1 in Leverkusen, Germany.
Currently, Jallaleddin leads the global MES Competence Team at Bayer AG. In this role, he leads the team of technical employees to safeguard the entire life-cycle-management of MES products for the Pharmaceutical division of Bayer AG
Denny began his career in 2012 as a software engineer at Körber in Lüneburg, developing solutions for the Life Science industry. His focus quickly shifted from software engineering to understanding industry processes and client needs. As a Senior Product Owner at PAS-X MES, Denny worked with large pharmaceutical companies globally, shaping standards for MES that are now implemented in hundreds of sites worldwide.
In 2021, Denny joined prime4services (acquired by NNIT) and has since applied his industry expertise across a range of projects, from MES consultancy to large-scale rollouts, serving as an SME and Project Manager. Now a Principal Advisory Consultant in NNIT’s Manufacturing & Supply Chain department, he acts as a thought leader and trusted advisor in smart manufacturing. Based in Freiburg, Germany, Denny actively shares his insights and tracks industry trends to benefit clients and colleagues. Connect with him—it’s always worthwhile
