José Antoranz holds a MSc in Engineering and an international MBA from IESE Business School, with study durations in Spain, China, and the USA. He started his career at an engineering firm, managing projects in the Middle East and South America. After earning his MBA, he shifted to the digital technology sector, initially working as a consultant in Spain, and later serving as the Automation Manager at J&J in the Netherlands. His primary focus is on establishing a robust automation foundation to support digital transformation initiatives and enhance manufacturing site efficiency.
With over 15 years of global experience in digital transformation and technology strategy, José has become a recognized leader in the field of digital manufacturing worldwide. As Automation Leader, he oversees a team of engineers working on the implementation of MES in the Netherlands, part of the site's transition to a cloud-based solution. Additionally, he is a member of the digital manufacturing management team, dedicated to developing strategies for fully digital operations.
Having lived in various countries, José has now returned to the Netherlands. He is deeply passionate about his family, with three kids, and enjoys sailing and chess in his free time. One of his personal goals is to sail across the Atlantic. He is also an avid sports enthusiast, having completed several marathons in the Netherlands and Spain.
