Before Jörn Volckmann joined Fresenius, he worked more than 5 years as Head of IT at the Schott AG in the business unit pharmaceutical packaging and for 2 years he was responsible at AbbVie Deutschland GmbH for all Manufacturing Systems including IT Systems, Automation systems and Laboratory equipment. With this experience on the daily challenges on the shop floor, Jörn Volckmann is working since Jan 2018 at Fresenius Netcare GmbH as Senior Project Manager /  Manufacturing IT Expert and consult the internal customer on the digital transformation of their production plants.

The most interesting aspect of my job is to bring value with IT systems to the people on the shop floor and can participate on major changes in our working environment.
