Monica is a Principal Solution Consultant at Aspen Technology, where she helps companies overcome their business and operational issues through targeted digitalization solutions, providing value to the pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals industries. Monica holds a BSc(Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, a MSc(Hons) in Advanced Chemical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and a PhD in Reaction Engineering from the University of Liverpool. She has more than 10 years’ experience in process engineering and process development of bioderived chemicals. Her work has been cited more than 300 times.
