Beyond Vimachem, Alex serves as Adjunct Faculty at Columbia University, where he has taught since 2014, sharing his expertise in analytics, operational excellence, and strategic intelligence with graduate students. He is also an active member of the Pharma 4.0 Special Interest Group at ISPE, contributing to global standards and best practices in manufacturing digitization.

Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon. As a student, I always tried to be involved in initiatives that valued teamwork, such as student associations, and also ways to develop my skills to become the best possible healthcare professional. I'm always looking forward to facing new challenges in the pharmaceutical sector and having the opportunity to grow personally and professionally.

Currently working in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector as a Specialist Production Technician involved in Digitalization Projects to implement leaner and more effecient processes (EBR, eLogbooks, OEE, Digital Weighing & Dispensing).

Additionally, I'm currently managing and supervising the production of Cannabis herbal extracts at IBERFAR.
